If constructed properly and handled with care, stained glass windows can last upwards of a hundred years before requiring re-leading and repair. No matter the cause, occasionally our most prized pieces fall into a state of disrepair. Be it a failed solder joint or broken pane, most windows can be repaired and returned to their former glory. In my opinion, sentimental pieces make for some of the most rewarding repairs, for which no project will ever be too small. Repair consults are free of charge by appointment, and can often be done through email for smaller works.
